This base style was designed to offer a very economical solution to compare to the old guide pin, bushing, and spool method. The design of the base reduces manufacturing costs so Standard Lifters can offer the GK125 starting at $99 and the GK175 Series starting at $115 that is $25 less then the standard "A" style base price!

This series was designed with simplicity in mind. The connection to the pad uses 2 cap screws and 2 dowels providing common hardware. Two fasteners provide redundancy and anti-rotation of the Guide Pin and the connection to the pad is machines with common tooling in one setup. The GK120 series is also better designed for thinner or thicker pads.

This GK100 is the first series in a 1.00" diameter. It's innovative design provides a number of benefits from simple machining to easy assembly. The integrated locking method provides a way to ensure the assembly does not loosen during operation but still allows for the benefits of a center fastener design. The design even allows you to pick up the guide pin and thread it into the pad using only a ball end hex wrench!

The "G" style bases are designed for lifter bar applications that require the base to be modular because space is limited or the length of the lifter bar is over 24". The design allows you to lace the base anywhere under the top plate and the spring pocket allows the use of a drop in gas spring or coil spring. See the cost savings example below to see how you can save over $100 per lifter assembly.
